Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your Private Slack channel will be accessible 24/7 although ‘live’ hours will only be between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday (UK Time). Your private slack channel will close at 6pm on 23rd December 2024.
    Katherine will be available to answer questions and offer feedback during set times, ensuring you feel supported while still encouraging you to take ownership of your journey.

  • The offer includes two One to One coaching sessions.

    These must be used within 60 days (before the 31st of January).

    During these sessions, you can be coached on the Permission Ignition material or other related topic - it’s your time.

    If you are unable to use the sessions, we reserve the right to end the support offer as it is clearly set out when the limitations are before booking.

  • Yes! You’ll have lifetime access to all Permission Ignition materials in multiple formats. This allows you to revisit and re-engage with the content whenever you need, whether you want a refresher on a particular topic or more time to implement the practices.

  • The live sessions are around 60 minutes each day, which is why they are in a ‘sprint’ format: you’ll get through the materials quickly AND be able to ask questions when they pop up.

    The program is structured for about 30–45 minutes of engagement each day, with focused sessions and simple practices.

    You’re welcome to move at your own pace after the 5 lives and since you’ll have lifetime access to the materials, you can revisit any session when you need it.

  • Permission Ignition is designed to be ADHD-friendly, with focused, digestible sessions for each module and flexible support options to help you feel grounded. You’ll have access to recordings and our private Slack channel will be there to encourage and motivate you on days when focus feels harder to come by.

  • OKRs - Objectives and Key Results - are usually seen as a business tool for planning.

    The mistake most people make is using them to create an action plan: that is, another ‘to do’ list.

    In this session I will help you to create meaningful, measurable OKRs and support you to develop a system to check in with them regularly during the first three months of Q1 (January to March 2025).

  • Instead of jumping straight to tactics, Permission Ignition helps you understand the foundation of lasting change - how your brain actually works and how to work with it, not against it.

  • While Permission Ignition offers emotional insights and tools for understanding ADHD, it isn’t a substitute for therapy or mental health support.

    If you’re currently in crisis or working through trauma, we recommend seeking help from a licensed therapist. Permission Ignition is best suited to those ready to explore ADHD-friendly strategies with some emotional stability.

  • Permission Ignition focuses on self-understanding and practical strategies rather than medical advice. We recommend consulting a medical professional or psychiatrist for guidance on medication or other medical considerations.

  • I designed this program to work for people at any stage of their journey, whether they are diagnosed or not. Although it’s perfect for those of us with a late diagnosis and all the baggage that brings, it’s ALSO amazing for any adults with a brain and heart who feel out of step with the world. (I’m not supposed to say that but it’s true).

  • Yes! Although I coach online with camera’s on, there will be days when you might not want to have that additional element. Since you will have two one to one sessions, it is best to book them for a time when you will have peace and be able to engage with our conversation, instead of multi-tasking.
    I would ask that you do not listen without headphones especially if other people are around - it is a safe, confidential space..

  • While we do our best to make sure that the material, group, community and communication are accessible, it is possible that some people may find their needs are not specifically met. A special note about RSD:

Hi there lovely

I see you. Forcing yourself to keep going in groups, work, online, networking events (shuddering) when inside you feel every single look, silence, comment, smirk, whisper, turned shoulder or flat out ‘you can’t sit with us’ like a visceral blow.

I see you, even though RSD - part of our emotional dysregulation - is not in the DSM because I AM you.

Even now, with all the work I do and have done, with all my insight and experience and tools… I feel it.

It’s a fluctuating, ever-changing experience like I’m walking around in the world with fewer layers of skin than everyone else. (Apart from you).

Sometimes I know it’s the RSD /Autism interface that makes me feel like an alien - and sometimes people are just being human and fallible and yes, a bit crap.

So should you join the Permission Ignition group?
