Communication Policy

This page explains how I (S Katherine Sanders) will communicate with you (as a client or freelancer or contract service provider) during our engagement.

It is not a legal document but it is shared with you so that you have a clear, confident understanding of how I work and run my business.


My Communication Policy

How I work:

  • Outside of client coaching hours I check messages and emails once per day.

  • When I am coaching or working, I am focused entirely on my task and cannot be interrupted unless the building is on fire or someone needs an ambulance.

How I communicate:

  • I reply to client emails and messages once per day. If you have a query and cannot wait, please contact my VA by email.

  • You can DM me via our private client chat on Practice and I will be notified of your message but I check this once a day only.

  • I do not check emails from Friday 12 noon until Monday lunchtime or during holiday periods.

  • I aim to reply to emails within 48 hours, Monday to Friday, except during holiday periods.

My process for work:

  • All clients have their own Practice client portal and you will be able to see all your emails, forms, client PDFs and appointments as well as how many sessions you have left.

  • If you have any other questions, please email my VA.  

  • I do NOT send out a large number of resources or emails because it is not helpful to overwhelm you with more information than is needed at any one time.

  • Clients can also access the resources I share with you by Google Drive and each file will be emailed to you as needed if preferred.

Why that benefits you: 

  • My clients get the best results when I’m able to focus deeply on our coaching sessions and keeping my coaching practice and research up to date.

  • When I’m coaching or preparing I want to make sure that I am focused on you and your current needs. 

  • My clients also need to see that it is possible to put boundaries in place for their own work and home lives.
