Evidence based ADHD Coaching that goes beyond accountability
Managing life with ADHD can feel like whack-a-mole.
A hundred things pop up at once, you’ve got one ‘hammer’, but zero peace or progress.
You’ve been hiding the hard work, over-compensating, and pushing yourself to “just try harder.”
You know it’s not sustainable. You’ll find your answers here.
Here’s a truth most ADHD Coaches won’t tell you:
you Don’t actually need more ‘accountability’
The real problem?
You need a way of living and working that actually fits your brain, not someone else’s idea of how you “should” function. You need to feel happier to show up for YOURSELF, instead of believing someone else has to do the pushing…
You’ve been trying to get things done by shape-shifting, trying to use other people’s strategies and become a ‘new you’ – the ‘more focused, more consistent, more… productive’ social idea of what you think you should be.
But you’re not the problem.
The strategies that need you to actually have a different brain? Those are the problem.
– If you’re tired of waiting to feel happy until you’ve finally “earned it”…
– If your inner critic is louder than your own intuition…
– And if you’re ready to stop shape-shifting and start trusting your brain?
You’re in the right place.
3 lies about ADHD that keep you stuck
Myth: “I just need to try harder.”
Truth: ADHD isn’t a lack of effort – I’d say that most of my clients are working REALLY hard already. It’s a neurological condition that affects your brain’s executive function. Willpower alone can’t fix it.

Myth: “ADHD is just an excuse for laziness.”
Truth: ADHD often means working twice as hard to achieve the same results. It’s not a choice to be lazy. Instead, we need the right accommodations, strategies, support and self-belief (really, that matters a LOT more than you might think).
Myth: “Medication is the only solution you need (or don’t take medication at all.)
Truth: While medication can help, it’s not a cure-all. Effective ADHD management needs a comprehensive approach that includes coaching, lifestyle adjustments, and accommodation or practical strategies. At the same time if you are struggling with all of those in place (or to keep them going)… medication might make it easier to get started.

Perfect for when you know something needs to change, but you’re too overwhelmed to figure out what.

What if
Instead of…
- Spending more time organising tasks than doing them and debating what to focus on.
- Not trusting yourself to follow through without external pressure, so you doubt every decision and commitment.
- Trying endless planners, apps, and productivity techniques, leaving you feeling like you’re the problem.
- Knowing you can get things done in a crisis, but the stress of them leaves you cycling between burnout, recovery, and guilt.
You could…
- Make decisions confidently without the exhausting mental debate or second-guessing that used to drain your energy.
- Follow through because your framework actually fits your brain: not relying on urgency or external pressure.
- Work with flexible structures that evolve with you instead of rigid systems that inevitably break down.
- Accomplish more by doing less, focusing only on what truly matters without the constant feeling of falling behind.
I’m Katherine – an ADHD coach who helps people break free from the myths about busy-ness and stress, then learn how to build an empowered ADHD-positive life – where you can get things done, your way.
I don’t do ‘accountability’ or ‘homework’ because your worth isn’t tied to a to-do list.
Traditional ADHD coaching can be too focused on your ‘behaviour’, quick fixes like productivity hacks and pressure-led ‘accountability’. My framework helps you to see past the mental ‘static’, learn to build adaptable solutions, and develop genuine changes that last.
The Lightbulb ADHD Approach
Stabilise the surface friction
Identify the invisible rules and mental clutter that keep you stuck in overthinking loops. We’ll reduce decision friction, work on your immediate sticking points, and create more space so you experience relief fast, without adding more to your plate.
Create flexible solutions
Develop a flexible way of working that evolves with you instead of breaking down when boredom hits. You’ll learn to adjust and adapt without self-judgment, making decisions with clear choices instead of overwhelm.
Establish the WHO and HOW
Shift from the need to be ‘fixing yourself’ to genuine self-leadership. You’ll redefine success beyond productivity, recognise your own ability to create and trust yourself, and develop action that doesn’t require external accountability or pressure to function at your best.
