Books

This book is the one I use for the Play and Connect Better book groups but it is ALSO a fantastic book if you’re ready to get started NOW.

taking charge of adult adhd by dr russell barkley

Dr Barkley is one of the foremost ADHD psychologists - ever. His work is always trustworthy and reliable. This is a good one for late diagnosed adults.

Sari Solden’s Radical Guide for Women with ADHD is essential reading - truly. I go back to it regularly and my copy is now dog eared and messy - the sign of a well used book.

Planners & Pens

Planner Pad organiser

I use this planner every week - I’ve not personally found another one that works to tame my ideas and plans in the same way. (I use the January start one).

frixion erasable ink pens

I love these pens - the only WARNING that I would give is please don’t rest your coffee cup on the page OR put the note on top of a radiator. The ink fades away with heat but for most purposes, they are really, really helpful.

Index Sticky Notes (Various colours)

I use these whenever I am reading a book - I find that making notes helps me to remember things and also summarising the point too. Great for revision whatever your topic or age. I love that these have an index tab ‘built in’ for easy reference.
