Passionate Life-long Learner

Reaching ‘peak-life’ - how I think of our 40s and beyond - was complicated and for a long time, like I was playing on the hardest level of a game I didn’t understand.

Now I bring together my academic background, in-depth professional training, as well as my personal journey through ADHD, autism and more to coach others, their families and advise businesses, so that you can step out of the ADHD confusion and reconnect to your boundless potential**.

Bringing in my ADHD Lens, coaching with active wonder and love 2.0 to create the space you need to find the answers and move forward in the ideal way for you is at the heart of everything I do.

Why I do this:

My mission is simple:

to help others realise that their ADHD challenges aren't roadblocks but stepping stones to a more fun, peaceful, brighter and fulfilling future.

We can’t rely on adding hacks, tips and strategies - those are helpful but not enough; we have to start transforming our genuine beliefs about ourselves, who we want to be and giving ourselves permission to embrace the potential within each of us.

I've witnessed incredible transformations and know that we are all capable of reaching our dreams - in our own way.

I’m Katherine

My path here has been a long and rocky one. If you’d told me as a teen - or in my twenties - how life would turn out I would not have believed you.

I was school smart & did well but I faced social challenges early and often.

Even facing health problems and difficulties, my insatiable love of learning led me to a first-class MA (Hons) and a PhD - but only after crashing out of my first degree in Fine Art at 18. I was a ‘mature’ student at 21! After leaving the art course I’d worked towards for 3 years, going to night classes and much more - I still could not function outside the scaffolding of school and home.*

The traditional job landscape was never for me, leading to repeated burnouts & episodes of depression.*

It wasn't until my early 40s that I received my ADHD and autism diagnosis, which became a turning point in my life.

I tried various coaches trying to learn how to stay focused & make progress, only to realise that traditional life coaching wasn't the answer - in fact it made me feel worse. *

My breakthrough came with ADHD coaching, which transformed my life and ignited my passion to help others in a way that wasn’t therapy.

I trained extensively with ADDCA and inspired by a meeting with Tracy Otsuka and by my ongoing mentor Jay Perry, I've dedicated myself to the art and science of ADHD coaching.

I’m also a PEERS® Certified Provider of Social Skills for Autistic Teens, Young Adults & more and am completing my IAPPC Certificate in Positive Psychology Coaching.

*This is all COMPLETELY normal for undiagnosed autistic/ADHD people who do not have obvious learning disabilities. It took me a few years to process how different my life would have been with an early diagnosis.

**we ALL have boundless potential - even if we don’t see it. If you want to know more, I recommend Prof Ellen Langer at Harvard and Ben Zander, of ‘The Art of Possibility’.

Staying updated with the relevant neurological, positive psychology, ADHD science and research is crucial to me.

I'm a member of ACO, ICO, PAAC and am completing my advanced accreditation with PAAC and ICF. My love of positive psychology led me to studying with Julia Stewart at IAPPC.

My commitment to the ADHD community extends to academic contributions, like my upcoming paper for the international ADHD conference.

Outside of my professional work, I'm a mother, a coffee enthusiast, reader, and a lover of knitting, sewing, and gardening.

Fitness is my next challenge, and nothing beats a walk in the hills with my two Greek rescue dogs.

Join me, and let's embark on a journey to discover the power of possibilities you already contain.
