build the life that works for your brain

ADHD Coaching

Research Based, Human Centred, Change Focused

with One to One Coaching from ADHD Coach Katherine

You’ve tried the apps. Read the books. Collected strategies like badges.

You’re still hitting invisible walls because most ADHD support focuses on ‘symptoms’ instead of what neuroscience shows: that your brain needs accommodations and beliefs that work with your executive functions, instead of a ‘system’-first approach.

Most clients don’t want or need to become more productive in a way that doesn’t actually suit anyone. They want to design a life that fits their ADHD brain.

Instead of focusing on what’s broken or missing, let’s start creating.

Why Traditional ADHD ‘Strategies’ Leave You Stuck

You might recognise this:

 – Shiny new ‘strategy’ feels promising!
– Starts breaking down after a week
– Back to chaos, plus shame spiral
– Look for new strategy…
– Repeat endlessly

What’s really happening:
You’re fighting your brain’s prediction error, not missing motivation.
Your executive functions need accommodation, not willpower.

The real issue? You’ve been trying to adapt to systems designed for the idea of a ‘standard’ brain instead of building ones that honour how you actually function.

The Lightbulb ADHD Coaching Framework:
Evidence-Based, Not Wishful Thinking

From Your Foundation to Integration

Foundation Phase (90 days):

Following a personal review using evidence-based assessments, we start creating accommodations designed for your specific executive function patterns and life. This creates a deep and noticeable level of change and awareness, at your pace.

This phase is a significant investment of your time and energy. If you are not sure if this is for you, read on and please check ‘My Philosophy

Integration Phase

Monthly support that adapts your systems as life changes. No sudden break when you’re doing well or life throws a curve ball at you.

Research Foundation:

My unique framework integrates neuroscience, ADHD research, cognitive ergonomics, mindfulness science, and positive psychology.

Unlike a lot of ADHD coaching, every element links directly to published research and data.

Why don’t you ‘guarantee’ a 90 day change?
ADHD brains don’t work in artificial timelines and neither do real, complicated humans. You will get so much done during the intensive foundation-building. However, I’ve chosen to offer continuing coaching that adapts to your life. There’s no pressure to continue with Integration but it really does make a difference for those who want it. This is only available to clients who have completed the Foundation Phase.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from other ADHD coaching?

This uses documented, research-based methodology developed specifically for ADHD and executive functions, along with positive psychology coaching and other science based data. No ‘tapping’ included, sorry.

Do you diagnose ADHD?

No. (Sorry!)
I know, people are looking for a diagnosis and in the UK there are long waiting lists. If you feel that you cannot take a step forward until you have an ‘official’ diagnosis then please pursue that first. I’d invite you to ponder – medication aside, what difference will that make to how you engage with coaching?

What if I don’t have a diagnosis – or ADHD?

Of course – I specialise in ADHD coaching but as long as you’re human, we can work together.

What’s your background Katherine?

My coaching style is a blend of personal experience, extensive professional education with the very best training centres (ADDCA, UCLA, IAPPC), and a deep understanding of ADHD.
Having walked the path myself, I bring empathy and insight that few can.
I don’t just offer tools or ‘hacks’ and I’m not self-taught, having read a lot of books or had a child with ADHD: I focus on deep, transformative change, helping you shift beliefs and access your own strengths.
My approach is rooted in authenticity, honesty, and a genuine desire to see you thrive. You can read more about my philosophy HERE

What’s the ‘transformation’?

Here’s how coaching works: it’s a thinking partnership of equals, where I offer a process and my ‘thinkers’ responsibility is to change, however works best for them.

Consulting or training are different – but sometimes they’re run alongside some coaching and people misunderstand and call THEM coaching.
Consulting: I’ll give you the benefit of my knowledge, experience, training and tell you what I think you should do.
Training: I’ll show you how to do the thing that you specifically want to learn.

I hope you can see that offering a guarantee of something in coaching just isn’t aligned with my ethics – I could, but I’d be feeling sick every single day.

What if I need more than 90 days?

We adjust timelines to match your actual pace. Your brain, your timeline. That’s why I’ve introduced the ‘Integration Phase’ coaching option.

Why do you cost more than some coaches?

I’m not going to pretend that I’m offering the cheapest ADHD coaching online. I’m definitely not going to suggest that you put ‘being coached’ ahead of paying your essential bills or taking care of yourself.

The question of value – rather than expense – is really down to this:

Am I the right coach for you?

Do you believe that, having read ‘My Philosophy’ and listened to my podcasts – you need more than information and that I’m the person you trust to help get you there. Do you trust yourself enough to get the most from our coaching?

I talk about this more on the My Philosophy page so be sure to check that out.

Only you will know if this is the right coaching at the right time for you.

I believe you are whole, resourceful and creative – because if I didn’t, I would not be a coach.

About ADHD Coach Katherine

About your coach

I’m Katherine – ADHD coach with extensive training (ADDCA, UCLA, IAPPC) and my own experience of late diagnosis in my 40s as well as parenting a bright, neurodivergent child (now almost an adult!).

After feeling like I was the weird one for most of my life, my mid-life diagnosis changed how I see myself and the world so much that I retrained as an ADHD Coach.

I work with adults and teens so they move from “what’s wrong with me?” to “here’s exactly how I work – and what I can do about it.”

I don’t pretend ADHD is a ‘super power’ and have a habit of checking facts and research, changing my mind as I learn new things, as well as making long lists of plants I want to grow and adopting rescue dogs.
